The Long Beach Early Learning Hub (aka “The Hub”) envisions a community where all children’s early learning and childcare needs are met, resulting in a stronger local economy.
Our mission is to facilitate access for all families seeking early care and learning services through an integrated network of partners.
The Hub works to support all families, whatever their needs or budget, in finding quality and affordable childcare they can be confident in. At the Long Beach Early Learning Hub we strive to make the search for childcare seamless, for families, providers, and employers.
The Hub is a project of the Mayor’s Fund for Long Beach and was developed in collaboration with the Long Beach Unified School District, The City of Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services and the Long Beach Early Childhood Education Committee. The development of the Hub was made possible by a generous investment from the City of Long Beach, Long Beach Recovery Act.

The Long Beach Early Learning Hub supports the work of childcare providers in the greater Long Beach community. We match families with available childcare spots that fit their unique needs at our local providers. We help providers fill their vacancies through community-wide marketing and outreach, provide a streamlined search feature, host a universal childcare application, and transfer families completed enrollment paperwork to the provider of their choice through our unique centralized enrollment system. The Hub is offered FREE of charge for providers and families alike.

A reliable childcare industry allows parents to access employment opportunities knowing their children are safe and cared for.
